You might have heard that BS EN 61347 has been updated, and from June 24th, 2025, all products will need to meet new requirements to stop battery charging if the temperature goes outside of the manufacturer’s safe range. After this date, older standards will be withdrawn.
But don’t worry – we’ve been ahead of the game! Since 2019.
Fox Lux products have been designed with a 3 wire BMS to ensure safe operation by inhibiting charging when necessary.
